Click to see original Image in a new windowThe architect Fernando Molina, an expert in the construction of temporary installations, paid us a visit last Friday November 7th. With the aid of 30 pupils from Technical Studies, he performed a practical exercise for us: the construction of a project inspired by the Sydney opera house, using plastic pipes and panels and carried out in the open-air amphitheatre that is to be found at the rear of the new building. Our pupils found out how triangulated structures work, what articulated joints are, the universal importance of Technical Drawing, work organization, etc. The photo shows the authors and the final result of their work.
